Hi everyone, this is Chris Reid aka Fantasmic with the first ever edition of the OFF-AIR blog. You know, its an amazing society we live in. Through technology developed in the past few years we are able to reach out across the globe and instantly communicate about news, weather, or my favorite topic: the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks to those following me on Twitter (www.twitter.com/tikiroommorning), I've launched my official show blog. It was suggested to me by a fellow Tweeter a while back, but I'm pleased to have just launched the blog on this sunny afternoon in Winnipeg, Canada.
Why call the blog 'OFF-AIR'? Simple, really. This blog will not only be comments, ideas and topics on the Walt Disney World Resort...it is also a place to discuss and talk about the Tiki Room Morning Show. I'd mention things here that I'd never mention on-air. It'll be more personal...everything from the contents to thoughts.
This is obviously a shortened version of what I'd normally be posting, but periodically...meaning in my world, once or twice a week, I'll take the time to write about a Walt Disney World rumor, refurbishment, or just go on a rant about something I really liked...or didn't. Consider this your off-air portal to my world.
My name is Chris Reid, and I go by the DJ name 'Fantasmic' on Sorcerer Radio. A big thank-you to the Tweeters that pushed me to get this started. I'm excited to get this going. Look for another update tomorrow, June 12, 2009!
